Here are some further research images that I have collected looking at how colour can define the 'class' of stamp, and how simplicity is much more effective that detail when considering the size of the stamp (being quite a small design). I think I will take on some of the things I have picked up whilst collecting images of stamps and I will use a different colour for each of the six different categories.
